Warramunda Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (Released October 2018)

An elegant and vivid reflection of the 2016 season, this cabernet sauvignon release is a more delicate follow-up to previous vintages.

The nose attractions you to the deep, well-defined and nimble palate, which builds and melds seamlessly with a fine tannin framework.

The flavours of blackberry, cherry, spice, cedar and violets linger after your first taste, making you come back for more.

The depth and complexity of this wine will develop over the next 15 to 20 years.

All the berries were destemmed and crushed a small portion of the fruit.

After three months on skins, each parcel was pressed to tank to settle for a few weeks. The wine matured in French oak barrieques, including 35 percent new oak.

Bottled in March 2016, the wine spent 16 months in oak with the final blend made of the best barrels with no fining or filtration.
