Warramunda Estate Cabernet Sauvignon – COMING SOON 2017

An elegant and vivid reflection of the 2017 season, this cabernet sauvignon release is a more delicate follow-up to previous vintages.

The nose aromas of perfumed violets, cedar, cigar box, and old spice.

The palate has dense plum and blackberry notes followed by old spice and perfumed violets which opens up to reveal more subtle nuances of cedar, potpourri and dark chocolate.

The depth and complexity of this wine will develop over the next 20 years plus.

Winemaking

Selected clones were hand harvested in the cool of the early morning and de-stemmed, with a small portion of the fruit gently crushed. After 3 months on skins, each parcel was pressed to tank for settling, before racking to 225 litre French oak barrique barrels.
