A versatile wine, this Marsanne partners beautifully with a range of different foods such as aromatic pork and chicken dishes, Asian herbs and spices and is a fantastic match with fish and shellfish.
The palate has classic Marsanne characters of stone fruit and complex spice, complemented by a delicate lift of frangipani, beeswax and almond meal. Luxurious leatherwood Honey is prominent and melts in with beautiful marzipan.
The wine will continue to develop over the next 15 years, becoming richer over time.
Natural fermentation in barrel with indigenous yeast at cool temperatures takes place over three months. A small selection of the wine underwent partial malo-lactic fermentation in order to build layers of texture and complexity.
