Liv Zak Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
A medium-bodied wine with a silky texture enhanced by flavours of lush velvety chocolate, blackcurrant, mulberry and spiced plums.
Sit back with a glass and a generous wedge of Roquefort or Bleu d’Avergne or pair this with a quality cut of lamb or beef dressed with a mustard sauce, French beans and roasted root vegetables.
Each parcel was hand-picked and a combination of whole
berries and crushed fruit was included in the ferment.
Fermentation took place in open fermenters at cool
temperature to preserve aromatic detail and ensure only the softest tannins are extracted. Each parcel was then pressed to 500L puncheons and matured for 24 months prior to bottling and bottle maturation.
Sourced from the highest part of our home vineyard in
Coldstream, Liv Zak Cabernet Sauvignon was selected from
two of the great Australian cabernet clones; SA 125 and
Reynella. Each clone complements the other to produce a
plush and stylish wine that presents pure regional and
